Witch Hat Cookies

I saw these treats last year floating around blogland and pinterest.  Time got away from me last year, but I wanted to make sure I got to them this year.

When trying to think of a fun activity for the little kids this week this project jumped to my mind and we went for it. It was easy enough that my 3 year old could do it by himself, my 2 year old still needed a little help. Both of them thought it was a lot of fun and were very excited to show them to their older brothers and sister when they got home from school.

Here’s what we did which is a little different from the original pin.

Take the fudge striped cookies and turn them upside down.  Dip a Pumpkin Spice Kiss in melted chocolate almond bark and place it on the cookie.  The put a little dab of chocolate in the tip of the kiss.  Wallah, instant witches hat.

The older kids were so excited to find them waiting for them when they got home from school.  So what about you have you tried anything new for Halloween this year?

Thanks for stoppin’ by and hangin’ out.

  2. Kadie these are adorable and so easy! I’d be excited if I came home from work to a tray of these! Maybe I should take a tray to work!
