Simple Finger Loom Rubber-Band Friendship Bracelets

So after a couple of months off, the #MyFavoriteBloggers girls are back!  We have made it even more fun for all of you to get some great craft/diy ideas.

This month we are focusing on friends, and things we like to give to them.

I’m going to show you how to make a simple rubber-band bracelet using just your fingers.  These ones work up really quick, and the boys love them as much as the girls.

Now lets make a NO LOOM rubber-band bracelet!

If you remember I showed you a while ago how to make fishtail NO LOOM rubber-band bracelets here.  They are so much fun, my daughter and I wanted to figure out some other bracelets. Then the boys started asking why they didn’t have a bracelet.  Well, now they do because these bracelets are perfect for the boys too.

All you will need is:

You are going to start these bracelets the same way we started the fishtail ones, on your first two finger and three rubber -bands.  Here is a step by step photo grid encase you missed the other post or need a refresher.

Now it gets a little different.  Put one more rubber-band on your fingers {remember to alternate your colors if you are doing a pattern}. The bottom bands you are NOT going to touch, until you are finished with your bracelet.  The second rubber-band is the one you are going to be working with.  Take one side of the second rubber-band and pull it over your finger, then the other side.

After you have been going for a while it will look like this, you can move the bottom band to the bottom of you fingers to keep it out of the way.

Keep going until the bracelet is long enough to fit on the wrist of who you are making it for. Then get your C-clip or S-clip to join your ends together.  The easiest way to do this is to start with the bands that are at the top of your fingers. Slip both “sides” of the band onto one finger then add your c-clip, repeat for the band still at the bottom of your fingers.

And there you have it, a fun easy NO LOOM rubber-band bracelet.  It’s easy to turn these into a necklace as well, like I did with the pink and purple one shown in the photo.

Now that you have your rubber-band bracelet, it’s time to hop around and check out all the other friendship goodies #MyFavoirteBloggers are sharing this month.
