Hello there, I’m Kadie, and you have landed yourself on the About Us page. I say about us because this blog is very much a family affair.
The first thing most people notice about us is that we have A LOT of kids.
While I adore my kids some days all I can do is hope for naptime, and craft. ———->
We do live in a Double Wide in very humid East Texas. I grew up in Idaho, I like to say I’m a transplant spud.
I grew up on a potato farm, and worked in spud harvest almost every fall of my childhood.
I can drive a 10 wheeler truck, guide a truck into a potato cellar, and pick out rotten potatoes with the best of them. I have been driving pick up trucks since the age of 5, unfortunately I also drove a pick up off a bridge at the age of 5. No real damage was done to the pick up, me, or the bridge. However it was a couple of years before I was driving Dad’s pick up again.
|Yes, that is my 12 year old driving a 10 wheeler potato truck.|
In my free time I like to read anything I can get my hands on, listen to music, and dance around the house with my kiddos.
Creating things is the way I recharge my batteries. I love to use my hands and make things that are useful and/or pretty. My favorite types of crafts are crocheting, cooking, spray paint, mod podge, and jewelry making.I am also passionate about kids crafts and the benefits creating has for them.
