Red, White, and Blueberries on a Stick

I have said it before and I’m happy to say it again, I love the 4th of July!  It’s the perfect holiday… no presents to buy, no presents to wrap, you get to eat BBQ, spend time with your family, it’s warm, and there are fireworks.  It is my favorite holiday by far!

So it shouldn’t be a big surprise that I’m already gearing up for the holiday.  These berries on a stick are so easy and yummy! Perfect for a BBQ,  and because of the colors perfect for the 4th.

Using a bamboo skewer, “thread” blueberries and strawberries on the skewer.  Lay out your loaded skewers on wax paper, then drizzle white chocolate over them all.  Let the chocolate dry and then eat them.

Honestly they take about 10 minute total {including drying time}.  The kids love them, and I have been a little obsessed with blueberries lately so I LOVE, LOVE them.

I hope you give them a try.

What’s your favorite thing about the 4th?

  1. Yummy! And pretty too 🙂

  2. This is totally awesome! I’m throwing a baby shower for my SIL in the next few weeks with a baseball/Americana theme and these would be perfect! Thanks for sharing!
