Classic Mac & Cheese with Veggies

Mac and Cheese is one of my kids’ favorite meals. It’s a great meal on really busy school nights.

Something I have found is that if I add some veggies to my kids’ Mac & Cheese they will eat more veggies than if I don’t.

My favorite way to make our Mac & Cheese is by following the recipe in the back on the box, then at the last minuets of boiling the macaroni I add some frozen veggies. We really love cauliflower {and a few other veggies}, the yummy cheese from the mac & cheese makes the cauliflower taste even better.

Horizon Classic Mac & Cheese is my kids favorite organic mac & cheese because it is yummy and cheesy. I love the Horizon mac and cheese because it has 19 grams of protein and no red dyes. My 7 year old son is allergic to red dye and mac and cheese is his favorite food, so it is perfect for him.

Of course if your kids prefer their veggies on the side it isn’t hard to steam some cauliflower and veggies and serve it in it’s own bowl.
