Twisted Crocheted Bracelet

If you are looking for the BLOG HOP keep scrolling to the next post down thanks.:)

Welcome to Tutorial Tuesday.

After I made the crocheted earrings, I started looking for something else to crochet around.   Why not a bracelet?!

This is one of the easiest patterns ever!  If you have never held a hook you can make this.  So grab a hook and some crochet thread and join in!

This one is so easy because it is only one stitch.  I have shown you how to do it before.  Just in case you missed it I’ll show you again.  If you need help holding your yarn and/or hook you can check out this post.
{As always the pattern is written out at the bottom of the post}

I am using an old plastic bracelet, a #5 hook, and variegated #10 crochet thread.  You can use any bracelet that fits.

Start by making a knot on your hook and a slip knot onto your bracelet.

Then go behind the bracelet and grab the yarn with your hook.

Pull the yarn under the bracelet now you have two loops on your hook.

Hook the yarn again, pull through both loops on the hook.

That’s it.  After a few stitches it should look like this.

Keep going around the bracelet.  You may have to smooch the stitches together.

Don’t tie off your thread yet now we are going to twist the stitches.  Just grab stitches and rotate them.

Until it looks the way you want it to.  Tie off the ends by making a small knot.  If you are worried about them unraveling you could use a very small dab of hot glue to keep the knot in place.

So what do you think?  Would you wear this with your crocheted earrings?  If you do try it out I would LOVE to see it.

Slip stitch onto bracelet.  Single Crochet around bracelet.
Do not tie off.
Twist stitches are wrapped around the bracelet.  Tie off with a small knot.
A small dab of hot glue may be needed to keep the knot in place.

I’ll be linking up to these fantastic parties.
