As Charles Schulz’s Linus character from the PEANUTS® comic strip was comforted by his blanket, Project Linus strives to do the same and more for children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need.
So, Kara from Petals to Picots held a blanket drive on her facebook page. I committed to making one. She was hoping for 50 blanket commitments to be finished by April 30th. I know she met her goal of 50, and more. So here is my blanket. It is made with baby flannel. I tried to choose something that would be more for an older girl. Often we think if little ones needing things like this but big girls need blankets too. It's 2 yards square.
Thanks for stoppin' by and hagin' out.

I love this - the fabric is cute, but that edge really makes the blanket!!
I have my stuff all set out for mine, I just *really* need to get my sewing machine back out. Maybe your finished results will motivate me. I have no excuses - there's a dropoff location right across from my daughter's day care, so I don't have to go out of my way, even!
Love it, thanks for donating, you won a facebook makeover from muah, if you would like!
