"Speed" Baby Afghan

I finished one of the baby afghans I was working on.  If you remember I showed you two baby afghans in progress in this post.  I found the speed afghan pattern from Lions Brand.  Of course it is a free pattern.

To be honest, I didn't do anything like the original pattern said to do.  Except to crochet with three strands of yarn at the same time.  I have never tried that before, it was really cool and did go very fast.  I am going to try to write the pattern, for what I did, over the weekend. For anyone that is interested.

It has been a crazy week.  JP (the husband) has been out of town for work. And I have a head cold from h-e- double-hockey-sticks.  I have been busy crafting and have lots to show you, but for now sleep comes first.

Thanks for stoppin' by and hangin' out.

I will be linking up tot he party's on my party page here when I get the time.

Oh no, I'm so sorry you're under the weather (what bad timing too, with your extra demands this week). I hope you feel better soon.

As for this little baby,........I would LOVE the pattern. It turned out so pretty.

What a beautiful little keepsake this is! I also thought your wrist cuffs were adorable! I always look at crocheted or knitted things and think they look super hard to do! Hope you get feeling better- always bites when Mom gets sick cuz she can't just lay in bed! :)

Oh this looks fun! I have two baby showers coming up & I'm almost done with an afghan for the first one, but when I finish I need to do another! These things don't happen quickly! Maybe I'll try this out, was it hard to work with 3 strands?

I really love this afghan! Wish I could crochet. Even my sainted mother-in-law gave up trying to teach me! THanks for all of your sweet comments on my blog and I'm following you now.
