So, when yesterday turned out to be bright, rain free and beautiful we had to take full advantage of it.
This is my favorite time of year. The smells and colors are invigorating. It was exactly the kind of day we needed.
We headed out to the forest.
Where we found treasures and flowers.
Did tricks on the tramp.
Even stopped at the garden and weeded the strawberry's. Lots more work to be done.
The roses the girls and I got from JP for V-day have been great for brightening up the house.

My daffodils are on their way up - but I am afraid they might have started too early - we still have a lot of chances for heavy frost! I hope they don't get ruined - they are my favorite part of my yard in the Spring! I'm so glad you had a nice day - it's fun to tromp around outside, isn't it?
Mmmm,...that's so nice that you finally got to get outside. I know what you mean about the grey starting to get to you. Ick. Unfortunately, we are still a few months away from daffodils so I'll just continue to enjoy yours.
Those daffodils are stunning!! and my kids are super jealous of the trampoline...looks like so much fun!!
