Little Lotte Lou needed a summer hat. I found this pattern on Mon Peteit Violon for $3.99 and made this hat for her.
She wore it to the zoo this weekend. It was great for keeping the sun out of her eyes. Until she lost it. Yep, it's gone. If any of you are ever at the Caldwell Zoo in East Texas and you see a hat like this one let me know, okay.
I have made a hat for everyone in the family but Abba. So, I had to fix that. This pattern came from Yarn Blossom Boutique it was $4.99.
It is a loose pattern great for the summer. It is adorable on her!
A spring scarf is always nice. One that is more of an accessory than for warmth. You can find the free tutorial for making this one here at Aesthetic Nest. (who is having a great series on learning to crochet)
I have been pretty pleased with the way my summer crocheting has been going. So what about you? Anything you have been crocheting or making for the summer?
Thanks for stoppin' by and hangin' out.

I will be linking up to these great parties and the ones on my party page.

Hi Kadie,
You had great projects. I am also on thinking what to make for the summer. I am gonna make more toddler's hat for my niece and some B A Gs for myself. I was browsing on the net searching for bag inspirations. There are tons of crochet purses.

Those two hats are adorable, Kadie. I especially like the one with the brown ribbon... stunning!!!
Oh, so cute, I'm so sorry you lost one!! I keep thinking that if I finally learn to crochet (thanks for the link, by the way), I'd like to do a summer tank - so it really is a great year-round thing to do!
beautiful girls and hats. I love the color and twirly-ness of the scarf. Jeni
I am in love with the scarf! Thanks for sharing!
I can't believe Lotte Lou lost that hat. Oh no. It was so cute on her too. And Abba's hat,.....super sweet in a retro way with that ribbon. Mmmm,....very sweet.
So cute, I should really crochet summer hats, too. Great patterns :-)
Cutest little sun hat! What a bummer you lost it- if that isn't how it goes! The green scarf is beautiful too- you make me want to get on top of that series to learn how to crochet! :)
These are so pretty!

The scarf is beautiful! Was it hard to make (think in terms of a someone who doesn't know how to follow a pattern but can do it with picture tutorials!) :-)
