While I LOVE a rainy day. My boys get a little crazy after a while. You can only watch so much t.v. before you have lost your mind. Doing the same puzzles and reading the same books over and over don't do much to help either.
I started thinking back to my days of being a NANNY. I remembered this simple fun activity. Yarn floor art. You all know that I have a ton of yarn laying around. I cut some yarn into different lengths. Making sure to give them different colors and thicknesses of yarn. And told the boys to "draw" on the floor.
You can make simple shapes.
The boys thought our cowboy (Woody from Toy Story) was pretty cool. He was their favorite thing we made.
We also made numbers and letters, sorry no photos.
A pretty easy, cheap, fun way to change things up when you can't go outside.
Thanks for stoppin' by and hangin' out.
