The Things I Didn't Get Done

I actually feel pretty pleased with the things I have accomplished this Christmas season.  All the presents are bought and wrapped.  Except that one that is being shipped it should be here today.(there always seems to be one)  I made several ornaments.  Even some with the kiddos that I will love forever. I made several Christmas gifts and  goody plates.  I was able to make to the ALL the kiddos concerts and programs.  AND we got to see and e-mail Santa already. Yes, we have stood in line to see Santa on Christmas eve day before, please don't judge me.

Forgive me while I pat my self on the back for a minute. While I was able to check a large amount off my to do list there are still somethings I wasn't able to get to.  My to do list always seems to big to finish.  It doesn't help that I keep adding to it all the time.

Today I am going to share with you the things I wasn't able to get to.  In case your to do list needs adding to.  Or if you have a last minute craft or gift you need.

Tamara, has a great tutorial on how to make these Cinnamon Pomander.  She makes big ones, but you could make little ones and hang them on the tree.  This is on the top of my list for next year!

A simple wreath out of fresh rosemary would look and smell so nice!!  If you have a large rosemary plant you could even make them to give away.

I didn't find a pattern for this one.  But it looks simple enough that you could figure it out.  What a great ornament or wall hanging.

How cute is this cupcake ornament?!  If you use a non-breakable ball it will still fit in the nonbreakable category.

Of course there are some crocheting things on my to do list!  This garland would be so cute to hang Christmas Cards on or to string on the fireplace.

I am sure you have all heard of and seen the Elf on a Shelf.  Here is a DIY version that is so cute.  The entire family is really excited about having an elf next year.

A cute felt tree with ornaments might help the kiddos leave the real tree alone.  If only for a little while.

We defiantly need a snowman that can't melt.  This one would be perfect.

I wish I was close enough to you all to hand you a goody plate and tell you Merry Christmas.  I am so grateful for each of you.  Your comments and encouragement are such a blessing to me.  I have made some wonderful new friends this year through the blog.  People I would have never met any other way, I am thankful that each of you have come into my life.  So here is your virtual goodie plate from me to you.  Free of calories!!

If you would like to make the calorie loaded versions you can find the recipes here(soft molasses cookies), here(Santa hat pretzels), and here (Carmel corn). As Wyatt says they are all YUMMY and Tasty!!
I hope you all have a very
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
