It is week 8 of the photography challenge at A Step in the Journey. This weeks challenge is black and white. I wasn't sure if that meant taking a photo of something black and white or if it meant turning a photo black and white though editing. I choose the later because it was easier for me.

Cropped, and black and white with a teal filter.
I really like the way the black and white one turned out. I think I like it better than the original. Maybe I should go back and see what other photos I like better as a black and white. Make sure you check out all the great entries at A Step in the journey.

Hmmm, that's a good idea! I just created some new display space in my house and have lots of room for photos. I'm going to go back through my collection and see if I can spruce some of them up with some black and white editing!
