Teaser Reveal *Photo # 4*

We are finishing up on the Teaser Post.  This is the last project from that post that I have finished.  Here is the photo I showed in the Teaser.

I am sure some of you guessed it.   Here is the finished project.

It is a quilt top for Abba's bed.  I have been working on this one since Lotte was born.  If you are keeping up from the last post that was 11 months ago.

It didn't need to take me that long it is not a very hard pattern I just got lazy busy.   I am glad my Mom came this summer or it may have taken me another 11.

I saw this on Pinterest a while ago.  I thought it was appropriate!
I don't know the real name of this quilt I call it the Crazy Nine Patch.  It is pretty easy all you do is make a nine patch square.  Then cut it in 4ths and sew it back together again.  Making the pinwheel in the middle.

One square looks like this.

I haven't decided how to get it quilted.  Do any of you know a quilting pattern that you think would look good on it?  It is kind of hard because it is a busy quilt and I don't want to make it to crazy.  I was thinking kind of a small stipple.

I love, love, love the way it turned out.  It is fun and colorful yet still girlie.  Anyway I am glad that it is done and I can check it off my list.

*Thank you to all of you who let me know the name of the quilt pattern.  It is the Disappering 9 Patch.  Thank you all so much!*

Thanks for hangin' out.

Oh wow, Kadie, this is fabulous. Fabulous!! I can't believe you refer to this as an easy pattern, lol. It looks so complicated. Good for you getting another thing crossed off your list - that always feels so good.

Wow! What a great quilt! I have never made a quilt and am amazed at the people who have the patience for it! My husband's grandma was a huge quilter and we have several of her fabulous creations that we will always cherish!

Thanks so much for linking up to my new party! I feel like the new kid at school...worried no one would play with me so thanks for playing!

Love your fabric selection! What a darling quilt. The block is called "disappearing 9-patch" and is one of my favorites. I like your name, crazy 9-patch too!
