I love summer time.
I love that the kiddos are out of school.
I love cooking out on the grill every night.
I love seeing the firefly's.
I love working in the garden and eating from it.
We all love popsicles.
This summer I started making my own popsicles. I thought I would share with you our three favorites...so far.

This summer I started making my own popsicles. I thought I would share with you our three favorites...so far.
They are all very simple. The red one is watermelon. Then orange one is orange. The white one is lemonade.
I use a 2 to 1 ratio. 2 parts juice to 1 part vanilla yogurt.
For the red one I pureed some watermelon in the food processor then added the yogurt.
For the orange one I put yogurt in the bottom of the mold then two pieces of canned mandarin oranges. Then filled the rest of the mold with the orange juice/yogurt mixture.
For the white one I poured in the lemonade/yogurt mixture then put in a baby spoon full of yogurt for a sweet middle.
The options are endless. The kiddos told me today that they would like to try a pineapple.... I think it sounds great!
You can adjust the yogurt to your taste. If you make too much you can keep it in the fridge until you are ready too make more popsicles. If you are wondering I got my molds at Wal-Mart for a dollar.
They are a great way to keep cool!
