Like I said in this post quick hair do's are a must. I love the hair pot that we made a while ago. It is great for keeping headband's on and bows and barrettes in. But when you need an elastic it is a pain to have to dig to the bottom of the pot to find one. I found this idea while browsing Pinterest.

It works fantastically!!! I had to share it with you! It is a mini carbine. I am sure you could use a bigger one too. I like the mini one because it still fits in the hair pot.
You can put different sizes on the carbine. You can use it for adults too. It would easily fit in a drawer.
However I have an itty bitty one that almost has enough hair to do something with. So I wanted to figure out a way to keep the tiny bands together too. They wouldn't fit on the carbine so I used some key rings. Then put the key rings on the carbine.

Yes, it took a while to get them all on the key rings. Not hard just time consuming. I can get them back off with only one hand. But better than that I know where they all are!

Great idea. I had to laugh at the little one with almost enough hair to style. lol
Kadie, that's great! Now I can find all the "pretties" that I keep losing of Triniti and Tierni's that their mom (my daughter) gets mad at me for!
