It was raining like crazy last night, the oldest three kids were still awake, and wanted something to do.
It was the perfect time to try out painted toast. My sis told me how to do this:
You take some milk and add food coloring to it. Stir it up until it is the color you want.
Give each of the kiddos a white piece of bread.
With new or very clean paint brushes let them "paint" the bread.
You have to make sure that you don't make the bread to soggy with the milk.
Because next you are going to toast them. She told me you could put them in the toaster.
But I opted for the oven. Just put them under the broiler for a couple of min. You will want to watch them very carefully!!
They were very fun and kids were excited to eat them after! I thought they were very cute how the bread gets brown in between the painted spots!
It was a great rainy day activity and a good bed time snack!
